With the [[July 25th 2020 leak]], the level was finally brouhgt to light with the stage's model and files. Judging by the name and the level's layout<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBNjlkwGFMw</ref>, it's clear that 2TEST.bin was intended to be a test level, specifically for how Mario interacts with certain terrain types, structures and slopes.

With the July 25th 2020 leak, the level was finally brought to light with the stage's model and files. Judging by the name and the level's layout[1], it's clear that 2TEST.bin was intended to be a test level, specifically for how Mario interacts with certain terrain types, structures and slopes.
