Description: SCP-5167 is a anomaly residing within the fourth floor of Princess Peach's Castle in personalised copies of ████████ game "S████ M████ ██". Although the location of the painting is inconsistent and varies between copies, numerous reports state that the painting's appearance is preceded by severe anomalous phenomena within the game, and is often inaccessible without utilizing various glitches in the game, such as the B████████ L███ J███.

Upon entering the general area around the painting, the first anomalous effect will occur, whereit all the colors in the game screen gradually switch to sepia tones, this visual effect getting more intense the closer one is to the painting. Accompanying this, the music heard in the area will change to a unique track that contains traces of SCP-████, resulting in anger and discomfort among test subjects.

In the game ████, many Paintings are usually able to be entered by the Player Character as a game mechanic to enter new "courses". However, SCP-5167 has a unique effect wherein the character will be forcefully shoved out of the painting whneever they make contact with this. As well as this, as all reports of this anomaly state that the game inexplicably crashes when near or entering the painting, causing an intense version of SCP-████ where the game gradually deletes all of its assets throughout a period of time ranging from 10 minutes to a day.

In theory, the game could be manipulated to allow access into the area attached to the painting, however, no reports have surfaced of this happening, causing many theories to be spawned many theories about what lies beyond the painting. When attempting to enter the game's files, no trace of SCP-5167 can be found.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIRES LEVEL 4-5167 ACCESS.

"Or so they say.

Think about it for a second.

So far, Nintendo hasn't been hiding anomalies in game. Sure, there have been rumors and reports of them suppressing reports of these anomalies, but so far there hasn't been a single documented case where an anomaly is concealed inside the game itself.

This, combined with the fact that the painting's appearance is seemingly hidden very well, and this should paint a very disturbing image.

Whatever the hell's in there is hidden for a reason, and honestly?

I think it should stay that way."
