The Chill Bully is a variant of the Big Bully that appears in the Snowman's Land course. They appear in all versions of SM64, including the DS remake, though a different appearance as seen here. The difference with Chill Bully in the SM64 DS remake is the texture, with the DS version having a lighter texture, meanwhile the original SM64 has a type of dark blue coloring. The Chilly Bully has a single horn on its head, preventing the player as Mario from jumping on its head to push it back.
Behaviour[]
The Chill Bully essentially has the same behavior factors as the Big Bully. The objective of the Chill Bully is to push Mario inside the icy water, however if Mario manages to push Chill Bully into the water, it drops a star. There are no known differences with the Big Bully and Chill Bully, except being located in Snowman's Land and the Big Bully being located in Lethal Lava Land.
Phenomena[]
Dual Horns[]
Supposedly, the Chill Bully can have two horns like its normal counterpart. This makes it easier to defeat, removing the challenge.
Small Chill Bullies[]
Small chill bullies are reported as roaming Snowman's Land and Cool, Cool, Mountain in some personalised copies. Their behaviour is identical to that of regular small bullies. However, they are significantly more challenging to defeat than regular small bullies in lethal lava land, due to the lack of lava in the stages in which small chill bullies appear. Typically they have dual horns.
Trivia[]
- Appearances of both The Chill Bully and The Big Bully can differ between copies.
