Bub in Super Mario 64

Bubs are fish enemies in Super Mario 64. They appear as orange fish and red fins with goggles on. They reside in Dire, Dire Docks and do not directly attack the player.

Blub

According to some accounts, many players remember Bubs being referred to as Blubs. The enemy is only named within the Official Player's Guide on Page 12, named alongside Bubba (who is stated to be the older brother of Bub). Many people remember the name Blub, although this could be a case of prints with typos, people misreading the name, or simply misremembering it. In certain copies, Blubs replace Bubs, although there are no reported differences and no way of knowing which is which.
